Why This Project

This project brings together the two professional fields in which I’ve spent years working with vulnerable children:
In law, I learned how evidence must be preserved with rigor, integrity, and the understanding that what we document today becomes justice tomorrow.
In therapeutic work with terminally ill children, I learned how to hold space for grief, how to listen to what cannot always be spoken, and how to honor dignity even in unbearable circumstances.

When Russia began deporting Ukrainian children, I knew that waiting meant losing evidence and voices. We had the access, the urgency, and crucially, the ethical foundation to do this work responsibly.

This film is the convergence of everything I’ve been trained to protect: children’s rights, truth, and memory.
